Why are we called Eshe Honey?

Easter marks the start of Spring when life traditionally begins anew. Did you know that Eshe means ‘life’ in Egyptian? Among the treasures discovered during the famous 1922 find of King Tutankhamun’s tomb was a jar of honey. Archaeologists tasted it (brave souls) and to their amazement found it to be as sweet as, well, honey!

Eshe means ‘LIFE’ in Egyptian which is one of the reasons we decided to adopt this name for our business … bringing life to our bees and their wonderful produce.
